What is a fanlisting?
A fanlisting, according to the fanlisting network is "simply an online listing of fans of a subject, such as a TV show, actor, or musician, that is created by an individual and open for fans from around the world to join. There are no costs, and the only requirements to join a fanlisting are your name and country. Fanlistings do not have to be large sites (although some are) - they are just a place where you can have your name listed along with other fans of the same subject. About This Fanlisting

This layout was my first attempt at webdesigning after about two or three years of hiatus from such. This is also the first real layout I have made without the aid of Macromedia Dreamweaver, and the first layout where I actually utilized CSS. The image is from one of the official wallpapers on the Daft Musique site, while the image in the background of the header was found somewhere on Google. This layout was designed in Adobe Photoshop 7 and coded entirely in Notepad. Credits

Why did you name it "The New Wave?"
To be honest, it was hard choosing a name for the fanlisting. The default choice I was going to use was Robot Rock, but then I reviewed the band's history and was then reminded that their first single was entitled The New Wave. Certainly they did bring a new wave of French House and dance music into the world, a new sensation, a new style, don't you think? I felt it fit them even up to this day - especially with their live tours - so I used it as the fanlisting's name. << back :: home :: forward » |
