The original, blank template can be found here.
Ignore that one box is missing. I’ve been moving them around. I’ve only managed to think up two so far. I’m still going to be fixing those thumbnails up. What am I doing? I’m not just taking this up… I’m taking it up in conjunction with the things I already owe people. Two birds with one stone! Ha!
This will work. It will because I will make myself work. Ahahaha.

It’s been a month since I last posted?! Seriously? Holy crap, I didn’t even know.
Have some Black Jack frontal bust shots (in slightly different styles) and those few sketches I promised last update.

Practice! Was going to be my sample for Super Charity Go. ^^;

Something I sketched up while I was at the UP AME caricature booth at the Shizen Orchestra last April 25, 2007.
Pretty proud of both of these.

I finally got the chance to scan in the last of my sketches for this challenge. While I bombed the challenge, it turns out I sketched a lot less than I thought I did! Maybe the rest was schoolwork. Weird.
Apologies but I am down with some form of flu/cold right now so I don’t have much to say. There’s at least one thing here I haven’t scanned (finishing it up) and these aren’t in order but here we go.

Black Jack sketch! Was supposed to be for my personal 10media challenge, but I think I’ll change it. Still, I want to try rendering this in ink wash anyway.

Staedtler fineliner pens.
Day 5: Lots of random doodles while I was talking to my friends/classmates about things like horror games… and reviewers, like the Angry Video Game Nerd, Nostalgia Critic, and Yahtzee. I have unusual fandoms.

Denise & Mahavir.
This month is February Draw Everyday Challenge, and here’s my first few days… this one for the second of February (in terms of ‘it’s specifically for the challenge’).
Miss Management fan-art! I love this game so much. I recently ‘beat’ in that I got tired trying to get the 3-Star ratings in those almost impossible stages. This style is so much fun.
The girl is Denise, the office manager and your character in the game. She’s holding a choco-caffino and a cinnabun, two items in the game that help keep your employees’ stress levels down. (Yes, that is a chocolate bar shoved into a cup of coffee.) The guy is Mahavir, the first employee you get to know. He’s an average joe… who has an English Degree from Harvard, IIRC. He’s the office flirt and loves lazing on the couch, but by jove, he’s adorable.
I somehow got a piece of rice stuck on Mahavir’s hair… leaving unsightly dirty marks on him. :[ So I decided to ink him… and now I’m trying to experiment with it a bit since I fudged up so much. Will post the results up soon!

I’d probably rather use the term ’super deformed’ or something but I’ve gotten so used to that word. Please keep that tomato in your pocket for the meantime.

Sakura microns, Copic markers.
A gift for my dear friend Lira’s 18th birthday. She loves all things Sailormoon. Again, thanks so much for inviting me, sweetie, and may you have all the best sparkles in the world!
This piece also makes me realize that I did in fact sketch something on the 1st of February, even if it wasn’t specifically for February Draw Everyday Challenge. What is that? You’ll just have to find out tomorrow if you’re too lazy to utilize your Google-fu!

HELLO!
Same guy from one of my last posts. His name is DJ Blue Sky. I think I’m getting a little somewhere with his design, but I’ll have to look up that fancy thang you people call “fashion” so I can really bring out whatever idea for him is swimming around in my head.
I also need to draw more full-body figures that are in action. I know he looks a bit stiff. I’ll try using reference next time I don’t draw him during class breaks.
I will try to get some photos of my figure drawing plates up soon!

And we’re back! I decided to use a premade Wordpress theme for now because the almighty ones know that if I insisted on doing my own, it would probably take me years to reopen this sketchblog. Past posts on LJ moved in? Check. New name, new look, and hopefully better artwork.
I was intending to make a new sketch specifically for this post but unfortunately I have a couple of plates I need to finish within the next week. Have a sketch I did a couple of days ago instead.

He’s one of my newer original characters that I’m still trying to give a face and personality to, and this is why I should have reference when I draw. I might make a better version of this once I get decent reference (and complete his costume!)
My goal for this year is to draw more often, but I know that if I set the goal to “draw every day for this year”, I’ll probably set myself up for disappointment. So I’m going to start small: I’m going to try to draw everyday for a week, first.
Boy is it cold here. My hand have been hurting lately probably due to so much digital work (and maybe a bit of games on my part). I hope this is nothing serious!

Okay. Wow. I’m really bad at updating anything in the world, aren’t I? Including fansites and other places. Then again, I always bite off more than I can chew. At least I start stuff? :D;
Here’s a really random (big!) sketch dump from the first semester of my college sophomore year. This isn’t all of what I’ve been doodling, I probably have a couple more. I still need to make a sketchdump of the doodles I did in my freshman year!
I probably won’t make as many comments as I used to, since I think that’s why it takes me so long to do updates. Just a heads-up in case anyone wonders why I’m not as much of a babblefish as I usually am.

This is how I am most of the time. Durp. :B

Well, what do you know! An update that isn’t a week after!
I’m trying to get out of my drawing rut. Hence, lots of doodles.
In this update, I have some style experimentation, some of which are for the hopefully upcoming webcomic, and some fan-art for the games Sonic, Klonoa, and Silhouette Mirage.

Tails! ♥ In a fit of sleeplessness, hunger, and with caffeine in my system… somehow, my wrist and drawing movements became much more loose and ‘free’. I’ve always ‘known’ from teachers telling me that drawing quickly and more loosely brings out more life in drawing, but… this is the first time I’ve really experienced it. Funny, considering how much I like to quick doodle.
But before that, here are some sketches from yesterday morning: how I usually doodle.
