It’s been a month since I last posted?! Seriously? Holy crap, I didn’t even know.
Have some Black Jack frontal bust shots (in slightly different styles) and those few sketches I promised last update.

Practice! Was going to be my sample for Super Charity Go. ^^;

Something I sketched up while I was at the UP AME caricature booth at the Shizen Orchestra last April 25, 2007.
Pretty proud of both of these.
I finally got the chance to scan in the last of my sketches for this challenge. While I bombed the challenge, it turns out I sketched a lot less than I thought I did! Maybe the rest was schoolwork. Weird.
Apologies but I am down with some form of flu/cold right now so I don’t have much to say. There’s at least one thing here I haven’t scanned (finishing it up) and these aren’t in order but here we go.

Black Jack sketch! Was supposed to be for my personal 10media challenge, but I think I’ll change it. Still, I want to try rendering this in ink wash anyway.

Staedtler fineliner pens.
Day 5: Lots of random doodles while I was talking to my friends/classmates about things like horror games… and reviewers, like the Angry Video Game Nerd, Nostalgia Critic, and Yahtzee. I have unusual fandoms.

Denise & Mahavir.
This month is February Draw Everyday Challenge, and here’s my first few days… this one for the second of February (in terms of ‘it’s specifically for the challenge’).
Miss Management fan-art! I love this game so much. I recently ‘beat’ in that I got tired trying to get the 3-Star ratings in those almost impossible stages. This style is so much fun.
The girl is Denise, the office manager and your character in the game. She’s holding a choco-caffino and a cinnabun, two items in the game that help keep your employees’ stress levels down. (Yes, that is a chocolate bar shoved into a cup of coffee.) The guy is Mahavir, the first employee you get to know. He’s an average joe… who has an English Degree from Harvard, IIRC. He’s the office flirt and loves lazing on the couch, but by jove, he’s adorable.
I somehow got a piece of rice stuck on Mahavir’s hair… leaving unsightly dirty marks on him. :[ So I decided to ink him… and now I’m trying to experiment with it a bit since I fudged up so much. Will post the results up soon!
I’d probably rather use the term ’super deformed’ or something but I’ve gotten so used to that word. Please keep that tomato in your pocket for the meantime.
A gift for my dear friend Lira’s 18th birthday. She loves all things Sailormoon. Again, thanks so much for inviting me, sweetie, and may you have all the best sparkles in the world!
This piece also makes me realize that I did in fact sketch something on the 1st of February, even if it wasn’t specifically for
Just because I didn’t want to write “WHY SO SERIOUS?”. I swear that line is so overused. As someone who has cosplayed him, I know. And I can’t count how many times people flung the expression at me. Y SO UNORIGINAL?
This is a request for Saave on LJ. Crosshatching plus light stroke practice, because I tend to dig into the paper and/or shade too dark. Hence, ballpoint pens to force myself to go lighter. How do you guys do it? It’s even worse when I’m using charcoal!
I’m thinking of slapping some colors onto this. What do you guys think?
I sketched this up real quick. Yes, it’s Michael Jackson in his Smooth Criminal attire.
I’m actually pretty pleased how it turned out for being done real fast. I think I might take it to the lightbox for inking. I need to use that thing more to justify its existence. ^^;
I think I’m getting the hang of Figure Drawing. Still not perfect (who is?), but the stuff my professor keeps drilling me on is finally taking effect… I hope.
Got the three covers done. I just have to readjust the other two’s measurements, and make the proper subtitles for the other two (seeing as they aren’t in English yet, hence, no English subtitle!) Also got to do the box and CDs.
Can I make it? Let’s see!
Well, more like my submission for it. It’s a project being put together by Peachifruit, and the deadline was yesterday. I actually didn’t intend on joining at first, but the idea of people collaborating on one big quilt dedicated to the events of the series finally made me sign up.
Plus, the whole ‘danger pin’ thing is my favorite conversation from the game.
If you’d like to view a bigger version plus some description on how I did it, I’ve uploaded it to deviantART. Click here to see!
