I sketched this up real quick. Yes, it’s Michael Jackson in his Smooth Criminal attire.
I’m actually pretty pleased how it turned out for being done real fast. I think I might take it to the lightbox for inking. I need to use that thing more to justify its existence. ^^;
I think I’m getting the hang of Figure Drawing. Still not perfect (who is?), but the stuff my professor keeps drilling me on is finally taking effect… I hope.

Okay. Wow. I’m really bad at updating anything in the world, aren’t I? Including fansites and other places. Then again, I always bite off more than I can chew. At least I start stuff? :D;
Here’s a really random (big!) sketch dump from the first semester of my college sophomore year. This isn’t all of what I’ve been doodling, I probably have a couple more. I still need to make a sketchdump of the doodles I did in my freshman year!
I probably won’t make as many comments as I used to, since I think that’s why it takes me so long to do updates. Just a heads-up in case anyone wonders why I’m not as much of a babblefish as I usually am.

This is how I am most of the time. Durp. :B

Eee. I’m so happy to be drawing like mad again! Now if only my hand didn’t ache so much right now because of online enlistment…
This time, we have a few quick realism sketches, Less Talk, More Robots art (one of Nathan, and one of Glynn), a Daft Punk sketch (as humans~ ♥), some inking practice, and more webcomic style experimentation… as usual.

Here we go: some inking practice, because I watched Steven Sanchez’s Inking Tutorial. I never thought of doing it that way unless I was doing some dramatic shading.

Well, what do you know! An update that isn’t a week after!
I’m trying to get out of my drawing rut. Hence, lots of doodles.
In this update, I have some style experimentation, some of which are for the hopefully upcoming webcomic, and some fan-art for the games Sonic, Klonoa, and Silhouette Mirage.

Tails! ♥ In a fit of sleeplessness, hunger, and with caffeine in my system… somehow, my wrist and drawing movements became much more loose and ‘free’. I’ve always ‘known’ from teachers telling me that drawing quickly and more loosely brings out more life in drawing, but… this is the first time I’ve really experienced it. Funny, considering how much I like to quick doodle.
But before that, here are some sketches from yesterday morning: how I usually doodle.

So sorry I haven’t had a huge batch of doodles to dispatch like I did the very first post. Have a style practice fanart doodle instead. ♥

It’s not the first time I used different colors for different ‘layers’ but I think this is the first time it actually looked quite organized. I think the hair needs work, but I’m not sure what to do with it. Ah well, more practice to come!

This Sunday, while I was waiting forever for the CAFI workshop to start, I (for some strange god-knows-what reason) felt compelled to draw…
… the car parked on the other side of the road.

I don’t know WHY I did, since I’m impatient when it comes to subject matter like that. I just HAD to. It was weird, okay? I have no sense of proportion, but at least I’m aware of my mistakes, aye?

This is what most of my girl doodles look like. Fiddling with styles all the time, but oh, my poor anatomy… *headdesks* Practice, practice, practice!
